Before you ask: No, Pyromancer Ascension probably will not be a tier 1 deck in Legacy.
Ok, now see the list I used in testing:

[Brainstorming] Designing a Budget Legacy Deck - Part 2
In part 1, I mentioned that many budget Legacy decks tend to be weaker versions of established decks. In this 2nd part of the series, let's zoom in to aggro decks and see why there's a point in playing budget aggro decks in Legacy.
Note: many decks in this series reference spooky's awesome post on Legacy budget decks over at MTG Salvation.

[Brainstorming] Designing a Budget Legacy Deck - Part 1
I have a problem. I want to build a winning budget Legacy deck. I want to do well in Legacy without spending thousands on dual lands, Jace, Tarmogoyfs, Wastelands, and Dark Confidants. I want to be a hero and inspire new players to join Legacy with a $100 budget deck.
The problem is, I've not built a budget deck that beats fully-powered Legacy decks yet.

In this series of articles, I give detailed instructions on the various card shops in Singapore for you to draft and duel with other players (see part 1 – Games Haven here, part 2 - Card Master Games here). I'm also planning a series of interviews with the people behind them for you to know them better (see part 1 – Games Haven here).
Without further ado, here's more information on the third covered Singapore Magic the Gathering card shop – JCube!

Singapore Legacy Metagame update!
For those of you keen on knowing the latest decks used in Singapore's Legacy Tournament, you'll find the deck names convenient pack in a spreadsheet documenting the Singapore Metagame here!
As mentioned before several times in the past, note that it's mostly the players, but not the decks!
Pour through the metagame and decide break it in the tourney next week!

[Brainstorming] Modern Pauper Ideas
I'm digressing. Having taken a break in blogging, I'm digressing some more and venturing off from Legacy into another Magic Eternal format - Modern. But not just any kind of Modern. With the overall power level muted down to the bare minimum, it is perhaps the most skilled intensive Eternal format ever! I've been racking my brains for deck ideas in Modern Pauper.
