[Tourney Coverage] 24-07-11 Legacy Tourney Commentary

The Singapore Legacy tourney last Sunday was marked with a 32-player turnout, the largest ever so far since Angus organized the monthly series. Here's what appeared that day:

Legacy is growing! A record 32 players played in Singapore's monthly Legacy tournament today with Tundras, Taigas, Wastelands, and Knights of the Reliquary as prizes! Here's a big shout out to Mike: Congrats! You've finally gotten the top-4 you deserve! Congrats to all others who performed well too!

The monthly Singapore Legacy Tournament is here once again, courtesy of Ang!

Event Information
Date: Sunday 24 July 2011
Registration Time: 12.15am to 12.45pm
Round 1 Start Time: 1pm
Venue: Games Haven (Games Haven directions here)

Non-Sanctioned Tournament Style:
Since this is non-sanctioned, up to 8 proxies are allowed.

For 9 to 16 players, there will be 4 swiss rounds followed by top 4 playoffs.
For 17 to 32 players, there will be 5 swiss rounds followed by top 8 playoffs.


Entry Fee: $20

Prizes
For turnout of less than 14 ppl:
Cash payout for top 4, depending on amount of entry fees collected.


For turnout of 14 or 15 ppl
1st: 1 Wasteland (Tempest)
2nd: 1 Wasteland (Tempest)
3rd: 1 Plateau (Revised)
4th: 1 Plateau (Revised)
5th to 8th: Nil, since there will only be 4 swiss rounds followed by top 4 playoffs.


For turnout of 16 ppl
1st: 1 Wasteland (Tempest)
2nd: 1 Wasteland (Tempest)
3rd: 1 Plateau (Revised)
4th: 1 Plateau (Revised)
5th to 8th: 2 Knight of the Reliquary (Conflux) each


For turnout of 20 ppl
1st: 1 Taiga (Revised)
2nd: 1 Taiga (Revised)
3rd: 1 Wasteland (Tempest)
